| Summer Camp 2008 |
The Seguine Equestrian Center summer camp program is held on the grounds of the historic Seguine-Burke House. In this beautiful country setting on Staten Island, an intensive horsemanship course and camp is offered for children ages 5-16. Your child will have daily English riding instruction, and will learn all about horses and horsemanship through lectures from our knowledgeable staff and have the hands on experiences to applying the new material learned. No previous riding experience is needed, just a love for learning and horses. Arts and crafts with an equine (horsey) theme, nature discussions, exhibits, as well organized games and activities will round out your child's day. We will be having one week camp sessions for 5 consecutive weeks starting on Monday, July 7th. Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. |
